Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') sets the rules of conduct for everyone using DefamationLock®. Violations may lead to suspension or termination, removal of content, vault revocation, refusal of service, and reporting to authorities where required.
1. You Must Not Use the Services To
- Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, dox, or intimidate any person.
- Submit false or fraudulent assessments, reports, takedown requests, or NDA documents.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Suppress truthful journalism, lawful consumer reviews, or constitutionally protected speech.
- Circumvent court orders, evade legal process, or destroy evidence.
- Use the Platform to traffic in stolen credentials, hacked data, child sexual abuse material, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Services except as permitted by law.
- Introduce malware, run denial-of-service attacks, or abuse rate limits.
- Use the AI Agent to generate disinformation, mass-targeted harassment, or deceptive content about real people.
2. Providers — Additional Rules
- You must maintain all required licenses, registrations, and insurance for the services you offer.
- You may not solicit Members off-platform to evade fees or quality controls during an active routed engagement.
- You may not misrepresent credentials, outcomes, or affiliations with DLOCK.
- You must comply with confidentiality obligations and applicable professional-conduct rules.
3. NDA ON DEMAND™ — Additional Rules
- Only send NDAs to people you reasonably believe will provide informed consent.
- Do not use NDAs to conceal illegal activity, harassment, discrimination, or to silence whistleblowing protected by law.
- Do not upload documents you do not have the right to send or store.
4. Reporting Abuse
If you believe someone is misusing the Platform, open the Request Center and choose Abuse / misuse report — include the URL, DLOCK Code™ (if known), and a description. Routes to support@defamationlock.com. We investigate every report.
5. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice: remove or disable content, suspend or terminate accounts, revoke DLOCK Codes, retain or share information with law enforcement, and pursue legal remedies. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent bans.
