DefamationLock®

Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how DefamationLock® uses cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (collectively, 'Cookies') on our websites, apps, and AI agent interfaces.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, and security tokens) over time. We also use related browser technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage.

2. Categories We Use

Strictly Necessary

Required for the Platform to function — authentication, session security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and remembering whether you completed the Free Assessment so we can unlock plan pricing. These cannot be turned off.

Functional

Remember preferences such as the journey toggle (Membership vs. Marketplace), voice agent state, and accessibility settings.

Analytics & Performance

Help us understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve content, fix bugs, and prioritize features. These may be set by us or by third-party analytics providers in an aggregated, non-identifying way.

Marketing

Used to measure ad performance and, with consent, to deliver relevant DefamationLock® messages on third-party sites. We do not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Third Parties

Some Cookies are set by our service providers, including hosting, analytics, payments, and AI inference. These third parties process information under their own privacy policies.

4. Managing Your Choices

  • Use the in-app cookie preferences control where available.
  • Configure your browser to block or delete cookies — note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.
  • Opt out of analytics on a per-vendor basis via that vendor's published controls.
  • Use Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals — we treat valid GPC signals as a request to opt out of sale/share where applicable.

5. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because no common industry standard has been adopted. We do honor GPC as noted above.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page.
